How to Use the Invoice Builder

1. Drag & Drop Elements: On the left sidebar, you’ll find “Available Elements.” Click and drag any of these elements (e.g., “Company Header,” “Itemized List”) onto the “Invoice Preview” area on the right.
2. Edit Content: Most text fields on the invoice preview are directly editable. Simply click on the text you want to change and type.
3. Add/Remove Items: In the “Itemized List,” use the “Add Item” button to add new rows. Click the trash icon to remove an item row.
4. Calculate Totals: Quantities, Unit Prices, Discount (%), and Tax Rate (%) fields are interactive. Change their values to see the Subtotal and Total Due update automatically.
5. Customize Appearance: Use the “Font” and “Primary Color” selectors in the left sidebar to change the overall look of your invoice.
6. Upload Logo: Click on the placeholder “Your Logo” image on the invoice or the “Choose File” button in the sidebar to upload your company logo.
7. Generate PDF: Once your invoice is ready, click the “Generate PDF” button at the bottom to download your invoice as a PDF file.
8. Save/Load Drafts: Use “Save Draft” to store your current invoice in your browser’s local storage. “Load Draft” will restore it.
